DHT Team
Project Manager
When a boutique hotel group in Bali approached us to furnish their 40-room property, we knew this project would showcase everything DHT does best: custom design, precise manufacturing, and reliable delivery.
The Brief
The client wanted a warm, tropical-modern aesthetic. Each room needed:
- A bed frame with custom headboard
- Two nightstands
- A writing desk
- A luggage rack
- An outdoor terrace set
The lobby, restaurant, and pool area required custom pieces. Total: 120+ items, all custom.

Design Phase (Weeks 1–3)
Our design team worked with the client's interior architect to develop detailed 3D renderings and material samples. We iterated through three rounds of revisions before locking the final specifications.
Key decisions included Grade-A teak for all outdoor pieces and solid acacia with a natural oil finish for indoor furniture.
Production (Weeks 4–10)
With approved samples, we moved into full production. The project was managed by a dedicated coordinator who provided weekly progress updates with photos. Our 400+ craftspeople worked across three shifts to meet the timeline.
Quality Control & Packing (Weeks 10–11)
Each piece was inspected against the approved sample and client specification sheet. 100% of items passed on first inspection — a testament to the clarity of our production drawings and the skill of our team.
Delivery & Installation (Week 12)
Two 40ft containers were loaded and shipped. Our logistics team coordinated with the client's on-site team for a smooth unloading and placement. The hotel opened on schedule.
Result: The property has since been featured in three design publications. The client has commissioned DHT for their second property, currently in design phase.
